marsha landou ; I've been in the field of mathematics education for over 40 years. Now that I am retired, I am working individually with mathematically gifted students whose needs are not being met at school. My students love the challenge of the enrichment material we work on together.
For several years I've been writing fictional stories for children that have mathematics as a focus.
I do workshops to help teachers with all areas of teaching mathematics in grades K-9, and seminars for parents of gifted math students. I occasionally tutor individual students preparing for the SAT, ACT, ISEE.
